Mike (Jesse Metcalfe) owns a run-down comic book store, struggling with having given up on his past dreams of being a comic illustrator. His outlook on life changes when he meets Brandon (Micah Giovanni), his best new customer who also wants to be an illustrator. The two form an unlikely bond that leads both to greater heights.
When Jay (Brendan Bradley) and Amy (Cooper Harris) move to Hollywood, he never imagines his girlfriend will become a rising star while he struggles to find work. Desperate and out of options, Jay starts a fan site — without telling her — about his superstar girlfriend with the help of his best friend, Pete (Josh Sussman).
