Synposis

“Gothic Killer Clown” was a random, fun project I wanted to create on a shoestring budget for a local band. The idea was minimal crew, set location, performance only, but with a lot of visual flair. We used an animation plug-in during post for the look of the video, which was almost like a poor man’s “Waking Life” or “A Scanner Darkly” from Richard Linklater; those movies gave me the inspiration behind the idea. The music video is nothing too sophisticated, but it was the last music video I ever directed before moving on to shorts and features.
